They strike a perfect balance of harmony and tranquility with their fluid and graceful movements. Observing this elegant bird, one is reminded of calmness, stability, and inner strength.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJoe Wilson says, “I am impressed by the grace and majesty of a heron in flight. It is a peaceful, almost dreamy feeling.” He also emphasizes the remarkable patience this bird has in trying to locate its prey. “A blue heron is incredibly patient and won’t move unless it is certain to catch its food.” While hunting, it will stand motionless with its neck extended over the surface of the water. Only the head and eyes will move as it is waiting for the right moment to strike.In this design, one can clearly make out the distinct feathers on the bird’s chest. These feathers continue to grow and fray throughout its lifetime and are used like a washcloth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis limited edition silk screen print titled \u003cstrong\u003e“Blue Heron”\u003c\/strong\u003e by \u003cstrong\u003eJoe Wilson\u003c\/strong\u003e was hand produced by the screen printing process. It is the only limited edition printing of this design. The artist has inspected and signed each copy in the edition.
