Diane Levesque-Majewski (Raven Clan)

Diane is an Indigenous artist and was born in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Her ancestry includes Kwakwaka'wakw and she is a proud member of the Dzawada'enux First Nations (Kingcome Inlet, Alert Bay and Guilford Island). She is French Canadian & Indigenous.

Diane's interest in art began in 2003 after visiting her Indian Reservations in Alert Bay and Guilford Island. She is a self-taught artist and her passion is creating art in a wide range of mediums including painting with acrylics & oils on canvas, pottery, beaded & leather jewellery, and metal art. Diane has a very unique style using the basic forms of the Mid Coast art style.

Her art is exhibited in galleries in Pr. George, Quesnel, Alert Bay, Telegraph Cove and Fanny Bay.

Her community involvement includes being a Board of Directors of the Northern indigenous Arts Council (NIAC), Prince George and District Community Arts Council (CAC) and Arts BC.
