Jackson Robertson is a Master Carver from the Northwest coast of Canada, British Columbia. For over 40 years, he has primarily worked with yellow and red cedar. He is affiliated with the Tsawataineuk First Nation from Kingcome Inlet, BC, but has spent most of his life in Nanaimo. Jackson's carvings have been sold and showcased globally. He was nominated for the BC Artisan Award and his works are on display at the Nanaimo Hospital. His art is featured in galleries and private collections all over the world.
One of his pieces is a large eagle rattle crafted from red cedar, measuring 14 inches and featuring an abalone eye.
