Dragonfly Sun

Gerald A. Fuller, a proud member of the Snuneymuxw First Nation (Coast Salish) of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, was born in Campbell River and grew up in Nanoose Bay. Immersed in a creatively rich environment, he was inspired early on by his mother, a talented oil painter celebrated for her contemporary takes on coastal landscapes. Her home art classes introduced him to composition, structure, and diverse artistic techniques across many mediums. Today, Gerald channels that foundation into fine art photography, multimedia creations, and graphic design, offering fresh perspectives on Indigenous artistry, mythology, and ancestral ties that shape Turtle Island’s cultural landscape. His visual storytelling infuses energy and respect into the Indigenous Cultural Experience, earning recognition and a place in private collections, businesses, and the hearts of art lovers.
