David Robertson
David Robertson, an artist from Alert Bay, British Columbia, is a proud member of the Dzawada'enuxw Tribe of the Kwakwaka'wakw First Nations. Born in 1943, he grew up in the village of Gwayi in Kingcome Inlet. With a passion for carving that began at the age of five, he has spent years perfecting his craft of working with cedar wood. Renowned for the intricate details and expressive nature of his traditional-style creations.
