Kwakiutl Salmon

Alfred Robertson, a member of the Kwakwaka’wakw First Nations, was born in 1950 in Kingcome Inlet, British Columbia, Canada. He learned the art of carving from his father, William Robertson, and has worked alongside his brother, Sampson Robertson. Alfred specializes in carving with yellow and red cedar wood.
