Running Wolf

Norm Mitchell is a Coast Salish  Snaw-naw-as (Nanoose Bay) Nation who is a highly motivated self-taught carver. He loves to carve. He takes the time to teach three of his family members the art of carving. He also volunteers his time in the schools to teach the children about his culture.

Norm loves to carve the medicine wheel (Sun Bear) birth dates. He carves everything from talking sticks, small masks, rattles, bowls, pendants, salmon, and eagles.

This is a remarkable piece of art that would be an excellent collectible.

The wolf symbolizes pride, loyalty, and affection.
