The Squamish Coast Salish Carving is an intriguing piece with a customary black finish. Although the artist is unknown, "Blackie" is inscribed on the back. However, it is unlikely to be attributed to Beau Dicks father whose nickname was "Blackie," as all his works featured a black finish.
A very nice and unique Red Cedar, measuring 16" x 6".
