Wallace Baker, a member of the Musqueam First Nation of the Coast Salish peoples, created this exceptionally carved smaller plaque from tight-grain cedar. The piece embodies all the qualities that make it a remarkable work of art. It was crafted in 2020 during Wallace’s later years, just a few years before his passing in 2026.
