Tom Williams, born in 1962, is a carver from the Skwxwu7mesh Uxwumixw (Squamish Nation). He resides and works in Xwemech’stn (Capilano IR Indian Reserve), his childhood home.

He is adept at creating finely detailed projects from yellow and red cedar, regardless of size. His portfolio includes intricate masks, three-dimensional figures, rattles, totem poles, plaques, bowls, and talking sticks.

Among his works, Tom is especially proud of the double-headed bulls he sculpted.

In his art, Tom frequently incorporates animals and indigenous motifs, drawing inspiration from bears, killer whales, salmon, eagles, hawks, wolves, and other creatures for his pieces.
